Ja. Het protocol kan worden voorgeschreven door iedere arts, huisarts, revalidatiearts, KNO-arts, neuroloog et cetera. De arts dient daarbij aan te geven dat de behandeling voldoet aan de huidige stand der wetenschap, en kan daarvoor de zojuist gepubliceerde case report
gebruiken.
Zal de inspectie voor de gezondheidszorg geen bezwaar maken?
Nee, niet zolang de arts de KNMG-richtlijn voor off-label voorschrijven volgt, en de behandeling goed documenteert, dan zal de IGZ geen bezwaar maken.
Hoe weet ik als arts zeker dat ik geen fouten maak die de IGZ mij zal aanrekenen?
Om zeker te zijn dat de behandeling goed wordt uitgevoerd is het raadzaam dat de arts contact opneemt met de apotheek die ook de eerdere behandelingen binnen KNMG-richtlijnen en IGZ-eisen heeft uitgevoerd via ALS-info@apotheekdab.nl. Deze apotheek is bekend met de KNMG-richtlijnen kan de vanwege IGZ benodigde dossiervorming verzorgen voor de arts.
